Who is Blue Door Realty & Dimitri Kalkounis

Like many, we are buyers, sellers, and investors in real estate. What motivated Dimitri Kalkounis to found Blue Door Realty (BDR) was a vision to transform the real estate experience in Greece—a market often perceived as complicated, fragmented, and lacking the level of service common in North America, such as in our Toronto and Calgary offices.

From the outside, real estate in Greece can seem burdened by bureaucracy, with many professionals working solo and juggling multiple roles without the resources to fully support their clients. This often leaves clients feeling uncertain or wishing for a higher standard of service and marketing.

BDR was established to introduce a new level of professionalism, trust, and marketing excellence to the Greek real estate market. Drawing inspiration from North American best practices and values, combined with the warmth and genuine care characteristic of Greece’s business culture, BDR provides real guidance, transparency, and dedicated support to both agents and clients.
